Labify

OVERVIEW

Labify is a web application designed for product design teams, revolutionizing the efficiency of user testing. With AI integration, it captures crucial details. Organize tests logically by product features, seamlessly integrate with UI design tools and testing hardware, and enhance accessibility through participant feedback transcription. Empower the entire product development team for informed decision-making and precise iterations.

Achievement

-Designed and developed a high-fidelity interactive prototype showcasing key user flows for an AI-powered user testing platform.

-Created an animated introduction video using After Effects to communicate the product concept and user experience.

-Completed all phases independently—from research and ideation to prototyping and motion design—within a 14-week timeline.

Research process

To better understand the challenges faced in user testing, I conducted interviews with six members of product development teams, including UX designers, prototypers, and researchers. Through these conversations, I uncovered a common frustration — repetitive, manual work during user testing was significantly slowing down the entire product development process, reducing efficiency and momentum across teams.

Building on the interview insights, I distributed a questionnaire to target users to gather quantitative data and validate the findings. By analyzing competitor products alongside market needs, I identified a clear positioning opportunity for Labify. While there’s a strong demand for user testing tools, most existing solutions fall short in key areas. Labify aims to fill this gap by focusing on design validation, qualitative research, and behavioral testing—helping teams streamline testing and make more confident design decisions.

Labify is designed for the whole product development team. The primary users are ux designers, who would like to use Labify to validate their design. The secondary users are product manager, who are seeking for evidence for design changes. Therefore, I created two different personas based on those two type of users.

wireframe & User testing

Labify streamlines user testing for product development teams through AI-driven efficiency, helping teams organize, capture, and reflect on user insights with greater flexibility. Grounded in findings from both user and market research, I first mapped out the key user flows in wireframes to visualize the core experience.

These wireframes were then brought into user testing sessions to validate the interaction logic and refine the overall usability of the platform.

After validating the wireframes, I developed the color and type systems, then gradually built out the component library, bringing everything together into a cohesive high-fidelity interface.
